Khaberni - Chelsea wasted the opportunity to move up the ranking ladder in the Premier League, losing at home to Sunderland 1-2 Saturday evening in the fixtures of the ninth round.

Alejandro Garnacho scored the goal for Chelsea (4), while Isidor (22) and Shamseddin Talibi (90+3) scored for Sunderland.

Sunderland temporarily moved up to second place, increasing their points tally to 17, while Chelsea remained with 14 points in seventh place.

It only took four minutes for the Blues to open the scoring when Neto sent a superb through pass to Garnacho on the left wing. The Argentine quickly penetrated and launched a low shot from a difficult angle that passed between the legs of goalkeeper Rufus and went into the net.

This goal is the first for Garnacho in a Chelsea shirt since his transfer last summer from Manchester United for £40 million.

Sunderland succeeded in equalizing at the 22nd minute from a long throw-in, causing chaos inside the penalty area. The ball bounced from Acheampong’s head to Traoré, who shot amid a crowd of legs, and the ball rebounded in front of Isidor who finished it from close range into the net.

In the moments when Chelsea was pushing with all its lines, the biggest shock came for the fans at "Stamford Bridge" in the 93rd minute. A quick counterattack occurred, and the ball was passed to Brian Propper, who kept it cleverly inside the area before laying it back towards defender Talibi, who did not hesitate, and struck the ball directly with his right foot low and hard to the far corner of Sanchez's goal.
