Khaberni - It has been a long journey that Kim Kardashian has undertaken in the field of law, starting years ago, specifically since 2018, and now she is close to achieving her dream with the impending release of the bar exam results, where she will soon be qualified to practice law.
Kim Kardashian, a reality TV star and entrepreneur, conducted an interview on "The Graham Norton Show" on BBC last Friday, during which she revealed that in addition to her multiple projects in entertainment and fashion, which she is currently working on, she has not abandoned her plan set ten years ago to become a lawyer. She said, "I have some upcoming projects, I will shoot my first movie in January, and we hope there will be a second season of the series 'All’s Fair'. I always want to evolve, learn, and grow, and I want to see where that will take me."
As the results of the bar exams approach, she added, "I will be qualified to practice law in two weeks. I hope to practice law. Maybe after ten years, I think I will give up being Kim Kardashian and become a lawyer. This is really what I want."
Kim Kardashian's journey to learn the law
Kim Kardashian began her professional training in a law office in San Francisco in 2018 and took the first-year law students' exam, also known as the "First-Year Law Students’ Examination," in 2021. In March of this year, she took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) in Los Angeles, which is a mandatory exam that must be passed before taking the bar exam to practice law in California.
Kim Kardashian revealed her graduation from the law study program in a series of videos she posted on her Instagram account. This comes after it took six years to complete the program instead of four years; due to the COVID-19 pandemic, work, and her artistic commitments.
Kim posted a glimpse of what appeared to be a graduation ceremony in her home yard, where her closest friends and family gathered to celebrate this important occasion in her legal journey.
Through her Instagram account, she wrote: "I have finally graduated from law school after six years," documenting it with a picture of her wearing a graduation cap on stage.
Jessica Jackson, one of the attorneys sponsoring Kim’s program, spoke onstage saying, "It is a great honor to stand here today, not just as a mentor, but as a witness to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we have ever seen."
She added, "Six years ago, Kim Kardashian joined this program with a voracious desire to fight for justice. Throughout this program, Kim dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year, for six consecutive years, which means 5184 legal study hours, while raising four children, managing her businesses, filming television programs, and appearing in courtrooms to defend others' rights."
The political commentator Van Jones also gave a speech honoring Kim, celebrating her achievements over her six-year journey.
Her sister, Khloe Kardashian, in a video posted on her Instagram account said, "I am so proud of Kim. I just left her law school graduation ceremony. I can't believe this work took so many years. I am very proud of her, it was an incredible achievement."
