Silver and Two Bronze Medals for Jordanian Taekwondo in the Asian Youth Games

Khaberni - The national taekwondo team achieved 3 colored medals at the Youth Asian Games currently held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, underscoring the excellence of the team’s players in various weight categories.
Abdullah Shahin won the silver medal in the under 48 kg category, while Luma Al-Baqour claimed the bronze medal in the under 63 kg category, and Fatima Al-Abdullat secured the second bronze medal in the under 44 kg weight class.
Player Mohammad Salme was eliminated from the championship after losing in the quarterfinals of the over 73 kg weight category.
The national team continues its participation in the taekwondo competitions, with today's matches featuring Lian Al-Rawashdeh (under 49 kg), Rania Taqatqa (under 55 kg), and Laith Dukhallah (under 73 kg).
On another note, the national team MMA fighter, Suleiman Al-Sheyyab, won a bronze medal yesterday in the same event.
Al-Sheyyab competed in the 75 kg category, where he faced the Saudi player Abdulilah Mir Alam yesterday, lost the match, and won the bronze medal.
With Al-Sheyyab's bronze, the national MMA team concluded its participation in the event after fielding four players, Mohammad Al-Hamdan (50 kg), Mohammad Taieh (60 kg), Laith Al-Ghraibeh (70 kg), and Suleiman Al-Sheyyab (75 kg).
