Khaberni - The national equestrian show jumping team, on Friday evening, achieved a significant accomplishment by securing the gold medal in the team competitions at the Asian Games hosted in the Bahraini capital Manama.
The national team, consisting of riders Timur Olsreim, Ghazi Al-Taboura, Eman Al-Daghestani, and Mohammad Abu Hamour, succeeded in clinching the first place after qualifying for the finals among the top five alongside Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE.
Subsequently, a jump-off was held to determine the positions, where the rider Mohammad Abu Hamour successfully completed the required course in a time of 30.26 seconds, securing the first place for our team and winning the gold medal.
This is the first gold medal for Jordan in the history of the Asian Youth Games and the fifth medal for Jordan in this edition, including a gold, a silver, and three bronzes.
