Arne Slot said in a press conference: "The difficult moments that Mohamed Salah is going through, we are all experiencing them, no one is used to losing, especially players who have been here for a long time."
Liverpool's coach explained: "Mohamed Salah is human, and we are not used to him missing opportunities, especially over several consecutive matches, it's easier to convert a chance into a goal when you are leading 3-1 compared to when you are trailing 0-1, Mohamed Salah always scores for the club, and the last thing I'm worried about is him stopping scoring goals."
Regarding the reasons for Mohamed Salah's struggles, Slot said: "It may be due to the connection he previously created with Arnold; that may be the case, but he has been in many promising positions enough to score goals, perhaps with Arnold more, but in general, if you have many changes in the summer, you need to find new connections, and Salah is not an exception to that."
Liverpool's coach added: "When you lose several matches, you have to keep telling the players that they are moving in the right direction, but we are now in a period where if we make a single small mistake, we concede a goal, while to score a goal, we need to do ten things perfectly out of ten, it's not always like that, we've had unlucky moments, like when one of our players is on the ground and we receive a goal while playing with ten men."
