Khaberni - Fatah spokesman Iyad Abu Zneit said on Thursday that the Cairo meetings between Fatah and Hamas are discussing arrangements for the next day in Gaza to make it a distinguished Palestinian day without international guardianship over the sector.

Abu Zneit added that the Cairo meeting discussed the developments in the West Bank, which is threatened despite US pressure against annexation.

He pointed out that there is an understanding from the street and Palestinian movements that there is an internationally recognized Palestinian entity and that the Palestinian home should unite around it despite obstacles.

He explained that Egypt continues its efforts to arrange the "Palestinian home" first, and in calibrating the next step to stop the firing in Gaza so that it is Palestinian calculated and coordinated regionally and internationally, and not to allow Israel to use pretexts to continue the aggression on the besieged sector or the occupied West Bank.

He noted that the meetings are conducted by the Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh, along with a party from the Palestinian and Egyptian General Intelligence, and a delegation from Hamas and other factions.

He confirmed that these entities are working on arrangements for the next day for the Gaza Strip, to make it a distinguished Palestinian day, and that there be no international guardianship over the sector, and they work on coordinating the entry of aid to Gaza so that it does not become an environment repelling the residents, which contributes to the displacement of Palestinians.

He added that Israeli violations in the West Bank and the prevention of the annexation idea have been discussed, emphasizing that "the Palestinian internal home will undoubtedly be unified, and there are those who worked on sustaining the Palestinian division, and if the division continues, it means the success of the project (Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu."

He emphasized that Netanyahu does not want any future solution to the Palestinian issue, indicating that there is a "silent annexation" taking place on the ground.

He said that Palestinians have options to confront this annexation, and they are thinking about the most efficient and least costly mechanism for Palestinians.

Delegations from Fatah and Hamas meet in Egypt to discuss "arrangements after the war stops" in the Gaza Strip.
