Khaberni - US President Donald Trump, on Thursday, downplayed the significance of the attempts by some Israeli legislators to annex the West Bank, saying that Israel "will not do anything about the West Bank."
A law project applying Israeli law to the West Bank, which amounts to an annexation of territories the Palestinians seek to include in a future independent state, received preliminary approval from Israeli legislators yesterday, Wednesday.
Trump told reporters at the White House, "Do not worry about the West Bank. Israel will not do anything regarding the West Bank."
