Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs hosted a Jordanian-Italian meeting to discuss cooperation and coordination in enhancing humanitarian support to the Gaza Strip, and the efforts aimed at ending the humanitarian suffering faced by the sector.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of relevant Jordanian entities, discussions were held on ways to ensure an immediate and effective response that meets the humanitarian needs of the sector in areas of food security, health, education, shelter, and basic infrastructure.
The meeting discussed the ongoing Jordanian efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Jordanian aid corridor, the necessity of removing all obstacles that hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid through it, and the importance of increasing aid in the coming period in coordination with brotherly and friendly countries and specialized United Nations organizations.
