Khaberni - China has called on the international community to adopt the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice as a guide to effectively alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Palestine.
Guo Jia Kun, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Israel is obliged to cooperate with the United Nations to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territories, emphasizing the need for international efforts to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue.
He noted that China actively participated in the deliberations of the court and presented its legal positions fully, reaffirming its commitment to defending international justice and supporting the just cause of the Palestinian people.
The International Court of Justice, on Wednesday, affirmed the necessity for Israel to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, including that provided by UN agencies.
