Khaberni - The events of the "Aviation Safety Transformation Summit 2025," organized by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority over two days, saw extensive participation from aviation experts and industry leaders from various parts of the world, along with representatives from international organizations, airlines, and advanced technology institutions.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Lengawi, the Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, highlighted the importance of the summit, saying:
"We succeeded in launching a global dialog platform that focuses on the future concept of aviation safety, and we are committed to making this summit an annual pillar to support global trends towards safer and more sustainable aviation. Dubai has been and will remain an active partner in the future of global civil aviation."
Mr. Nasser Al Maamari, Director of Environment and Air Safety at the Authority, also emphasized the role of the summit in enhancing international cooperation and innovation in aviation, noting Dubai's commitment to adopting futuristic technologies to ensure the highest standards of safety and sustainability, and added:
"This summit represents a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation among all parties, ensuring the aviation sector's ability to keep pace with digital and environmental developments and achieve higher levels of safety and security."
The first day was distinguished by its dialog sessions focusing on the latest developments in aviation safety, featuring the role of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital twins in enhancing the efficiency of air safety systems, along with discussions on the environmental and legislative challenges facing the sector amidst rapid technological transformations.
The second day featured interactive sessions dealing with regional and international experiences in risk management and air safety, where participants showcased modern innovations in accident prediction and operational data analysis, and discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation between regulatory bodies and airlines to develop an integrated safety system.
