Khaberni - Aqaba Governor, Ayman Al-Awaisha, confirmed that the cases who consulted the medical clinics in the Southern Industrial Area due to respiratory distress after their exposure to dust while performing their job duties were handled, discharged, and their safety was assured.
He added that two cases were reported to have respiratory distress due to dense dust caused by weather conditions in the southern part of Aqaba city, and they were rushed to the medical clinics in the area for examination and reassurance about their health condition.
Al-Awaisha denied that their respiratory distress was caused by a gas leak or fumes from factories in the area, urging accuracy in the information published regarding such incidents.
