Khaberni - The issuance of visas for the Umrah season for overseas pilgrims has surpassed the 4 million visa mark since the announcement of the new season, which began at the beginning of last June.

In this way, the current Umrah season achieves a record number in terms of the influx of overseas pilgrims within a time frame not exceeding 5 months since the season's launch compared to previous seasons.

In related news, Saudi sources also clarified that the nationalities obtaining the most Umrah visas are citizens from Pakistan, Indonesia, and India, in addition to Iraq and finally Egypt.

In addition, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has enabled the issuance of Umrah permits for pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia through the "Nusk" app, which serves as the unified digital platform for providing government services to the guests of mercy.

The application allows users to book and issue permits easily, along with a variety of digital service packages to enhance the pilgrim's experience.

The Ministry also mentioned that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early, in partnership with relevant entities, to ensure the smoothness of procedures and the sustainability of improvement.

It also announced the continued efforts to expand the range of digital and educational services in several languages, and to achieve the highest levels of safety and comfort for pilgrims.
