Khaberni - As part of the commitment of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Ahliya University to its academic and community role in enhancing health awareness and serving the community, the College participated a few days ago at Independence Hall - Greater Salt Municipality, in an awareness event on the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which was organized in cooperation with the subcommittee of the Balqa Pharmacists Syndicate and the Hussein Foundation for Cancer.
The event aimed to spread awareness among women about the importance of early screening and regular check-ups, and to encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyles to prevent breast cancer. Several faculty members represented the college at this event, along with a significant participation from the Pharmacy Students’ Club, where they distributed educational brochures and provided simple and direct explanations to women about the importance of early screening and preventive factors, in addition to providing pharmaceutical advice.
This event reflected the spirit of cooperation and teamwork between the college and health entities, and contributed to enhancing the community role of pharmacy students.
