Khaberni - The Saudi Royal Court announced in a statement, the appointment of Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan as the General Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by royal decree.
According to a statement by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud published by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", it states: "Based on what has been presented to us by the Crown Prince, we have ordered the following: Firstly, the appointment of the honorable Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan as the General Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and the General President of the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Issuing Fatwas with the rank of minister."
