Khaberni - The Al-Wehdat Jordanian team lost to their host Esteghlal Tehran from Iran with a score of 2-0, in the match held on Wednesday evening, at Shahre Qods Stadium, as part of the third round in Group 1 of the AFC Champions League 2.
Yasser Asani scored both goals for Esteghlal in the 44th minute and Munir El Haddadi in the 8th minute, securing the three points for the Iranian team.
With this loss, Al-Wehdat faces a difficult challenge in maintaining its hopes for advancing to the next round, having lost its previous matches against Muharraq from Bahrain and Al-Wasl from UAE.
