Khaberni - The International Court of Justice, the highest legal body of the United Nations, stated on Wednesday that Israel is obligated to support the relief efforts provided by the United Nations in the Gaza Strip and its agencies, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
The 11-judge panel added that Israel has not proven its claims that a significant portion of the UNRWA staff are "members" of Hamas.
The Court found that Israel must provide "basic needs" for the population in the Gaza Strip, especially everything they need to survive.
