Khaberni - Norway announced on Wednesday that it will present a new United Nations resolution to compel Israel to lift restrictions on aid to the besieged and destroyed Gaza Strip, following a decision from the International Court of Justice on this matter.
Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide said his country "now intends to follow up this decision (issued by the Court of Justice) with a resolution from the United Nations General Assembly".
Norway stands behind the international bill that asked the International Court to provide an "advisory opinion" on Israel’s obligations under international law in relation to delivering aid to the Gaza Strip.
