Khaberni - The General Manager of the National Electricity Company, Sofian Al-Batayneh, confirmed the company's full readiness to handle the anticipated electrical loads during the winter season.

He stated, "The company has developed a comprehensive plan that includes operational, technical, and logistical aspects to ensure the continuous efficiency of power supply throughout the various regions of the kingdom."

Al-Batayneh explained in a statement on Wednesday that the company's staff in various work locations completed the preventive maintenance of the transformation stations and main transmission lines. Furthermore, the readiness of national control and monitoring systems to track the electrical loads round the clock have been confirmed, as well as preparedness to deal with any emergencies that may arise due to weather conditions during the winter season.

He noted that the company worked on providing a strategic inventory in warehouses and enhancing the readiness of emergency teams and their field distribution to ensure a quick response to any potential faults, in addition to strengthening continuous coordination with electricity distribution companies and related entities to secure the highest reliability levels in the national electrical system.

Al-Batayneh highlighted that the company implemented new expansions in the electrical transmission system to cope with the loads, alongside conducting annual preventive maintenance programs for all network elements in preparation for the winter season, which usually experiences an increased demand for electricity.
