Khaberni - In a step that contributes to consolidating its position as a major supplier of potash fertilizer on the European continent, Arab Potash Company signed today, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, a long-term supply agreement with Belgian group Tessenderlo, one of the world's largest producers of potassium sulfate (SOP).

The agreement was signed by the CEO of the company, Dr. Maen Al-Nsour, and the Vice President of Tessenderlo Group, Geert Gyselinck, and the Executive Commercial CEO of Arab Potash–Europe, Engineer Rashid Al-Loubani, on the sidelines of their participation in the "Argus Fertilizers in Europe" conference, which is among the premier events gathering producers and consumers in the fertilizer sector across the continent.

Arab Potash–Europe (APC Trading and Logistics Europe AG), the new commercial and logistics arm of Arab Potash located in Zug, Switzerland, is one of the vital pillars of the company’s expansion strategy within the continent. It plays a pivotal role in developing marketing and distribution operations through improving efficiency of shipping and storage and expanding the customer base in targeted markets.

Under the agreement, "Arab Potash" will supply between (100 - 120) thousand tons annually of potash to the group, with the agreement being automatically renewed each year. This reflects the strength of the strategic partnership and the European partners’ confidence in the quality of the company's products, which have seen its sales to Tessenderlo gradually increase over the past three years reaching about 90,000 tons in 2024.

This high-quality partnership with a leading group like Tessenderlo is a global testament to the quality and reliability of Jordanian potash and reflects the prestigious reputation that Arab Potash Company has built.

It is worth mentioning that the company is continuing to implement its ambitious expansion plan in Europe, benefiting from the capabilities provided by its new commercial and logistics arm in Switzerland. This expansion is not limited to increasing sales volume but also aims to develop a more efficient and flexible distribution network, ensuring the best delivery of the product to customers, including farmers. This approach has enabled the company to achieve record sales in 2024, with expectations of exceeding them this year.
