Khaberni - The Cabinet decided in its session held today, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, to approve the justifications for the draft amended regulation of the administrative organization of the National Cyber Security Center for the year 2025, preparing it to be sent to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau to proceed with the endorsement procedures accordingly.
The draft regulation aims to reduce the number of regulatory units and prevent overlap between the departments’ operations, streamline performance, and enable the center to carry out some of its core tasks which require renaming or merging some departments to align with the public sector’s modernization map.
