In the ongoing journey of Amman Arab University’s establishment in quality and excellence and its continuous development, and affirming its position as a leading institution in higher education both locally and regionally, Amman Arab University has achieved a new milestone added to its pioneering journey in academic and research excellence, by ranking (93) at the level of Arab universities within the QS Arab universities ranking for the year 2026, advancing (17) places from last year's ranking.

In this regard, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadiyan, President of Amman Arab University, confirmed that this progress reflects the efforts of the academic and administrative staff working as a team to enhance an advanced educational environment that meets future requirements. He added that equipping students with future skills, supporting scientific research, and developing academic competencies represent the fundamental pillars of the university's strategy for ongoing development and improvement. He pointed out that Amman Arab University harnesses all its capabilities to achieve its strategic goals and enhance its academic and research partnerships at both regional and global levels, expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation to the faculty and administrative staff for their efforts and dedication to work, affirming that this achievement is the fruit of collective work and the spirit of one team that always characterizes the family of Amman Arab University.

In turn, Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance at Amman Arab University, noted that the university has achieved distinguished performance on several ranking indicators, ranking second in the Arab world in the criteria of research citations with a rate of 99.9% in this criterion, reflecting the robustness of the university’s scientific output and its regional and international impact. It also ranked (23)rd in the Arab world in the web impact criterion, confirming its active presence in the academic digital space. Additionally, the university was distinguished in the criterion of faculty members holding doctoral degrees, highlighting the qualifications and high competence of its academic staff, in addition to achieving the (41)st rank in the criterion of international students, indicating the cultural diversity and openness characterizing its academic environment. Amman Arab University was also ranked among the top (100) Arab universities in academic and employment reputation, confirming its position among the most prominent institutions of higher education at both local and regional levels.

It is worth noting that the QS ranking for the Arab region is based on a set of criteria including: academic and employment reputation, quality of education, the size and impact of scientific research, and international openness, which translates Amman Arab University’s commitment to continuous improvement and to providing quality education that meets global aspirations.
