Khaberni - Housing Bank sponsored the annual charity diplomatic corps bazaar for Umm Al-Hussein Institute in its 61st edition, which was inaugurated under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Talal with the participation of more than 50 Arab and foreign diplomatic entities accredited to the Royal Hashemite Court.
Housing Bank's sponsorship of this annual bazaar is in recognition of the role of Umm Al-Hussein Institute and as an extension of Housing Bank's ongoing efforts within the "Housing Possibilities" social responsibility program in the social empowerment sector, which focuses on delivering direct support to beneficiaries and enhancing the role of civil society organizations.
The proceeds of the bazaar, which featured participation from diplomatic bodies and was held at Al-Hussein Youth City-Amman, will be entirely allocated to providing shelter, educational, health, social, recreational, and counseling services for orphaned children and those suffering from family disintegration at the institute, who are aged between 6-18 years.
It is worth mentioning that Umm Al-Hussein Institute, founded in 1958 by Her Majesty the late Queen Zein Al Sharaf, offers social, educational, psychological, social, and legal counseling services to children, alongside providing material, in-kind, advisory, and training assistance to them.
