Khaberni - Huawei has revealed a new router named Router X3 Pro, which at first glance appears more like a modern décor piece than an electronic device for broadcasting the internet.
The router, to be released in China next November, abandons the traditional square or flat design typically seen in routing devices and instead adopts a sleek cylindrical structure with a transparent top section containing a model resembling a mountain peak lit from within.
This design gives the router a distinctive look similar to "a mountain peak illuminated at sunset," making it a decorative element that can be placed in the living room without drawing attention as a technological device, according to a report published by "gizmochina" and reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
The promotional images show internal lights in red and white, while Huawei has not yet confirmed whether the lighting is customizable or if different versions will be available in various colors.
The images also show a small device with the same design, which functions as a range extender to strengthen wireless signals, indicating that the new router supports Mesh technology to expand Wi-Fi coverage without the need for additional cables.
Although the company has not yet revealed the full specifications, it is expected to support the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, along with NearLink technology, to operate as a comprehensive control center for Huawei's smart home ecosystem, enabling the management of connected devices and facilitating seamless collaboration between them.
With this innovative design, it seems that Huawei is not only betting on performance but also aims to transform network devices into aesthetic elements within the modern home.
