AlBakkar Keen on Organizing the Affairs of NonJordanian Labor

Khaberni - Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar received in his office the Egyptian Ambassador in Amman, Khaled Al-Abiad, to discuss the aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in issues related to labor and Egyptian labor in Jordan.

The two sides emphasized the importance of the electronic platform for the recruitment of Egyptian labor in organizing the recruitment of this labor force and protecting them from exploitation.

According to a statement from the ministry on Tuesday, Al-Bakkar said that the distinguished historical relations between Jordan and Egypt will remain a main guarantee and a solid foundation preserving the interests of both countries and peoples in various circumstances, confirming that the Ministry of Labor is keen to keep communication channels open to overcome any obstacles that may face Egyptian labor in Jordan according to the frameworks and laws governing them.

The minister emphasized that the ministry is keen on organizing the affairs of non-Jordanian labor, especially the committed Egyptian labor force, which enjoys respect and appreciation among Jordanians, noting that the labor law does not discriminate in labor rights between Jordanian and non-Jordanian workers.

On his part, Ambassador Khaled Al-Abiad praised during the meeting the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the Jordanian and Egyptian sides regarding various issues of Egyptian labor in Jordan, in line with the directives of the political leadership of both countries to enhance and deepen cooperation in various fields.

Al-Abiad pointed out that the Egyptian labor force is keen on complying with the labor law and the regulations and instructions in Jordan, appreciating the cooperation of the Ministry of Labor with the Egyptian Ministry of Labor and the Egyptian Embassy in Amman.
