Khaberni - The General Directorate of State Security in Lebanon announced that it had arrested a Palestinian on suspicion of his communication with the Israeli intelligence agency "Mossad".
The Directorate stated in a statement that as part of its duties in combating espionage activities, a patrol of the Directorate in the south arrested the Palestinian (M. Sh.) on October 20, on suspicion of his communication with the Israeli enemy.
The arrest came after monitoring his following of the official page of the "Mossad" agency on the "Facebook" site, which raised suspicions about the nature of his communications and movements through the platform.
The Directorate indicated that the necessary legal procedures had been taken against him, based on the indication of the competent judiciary, as part of the ongoing monitoring of suspicious activities that affect state security.
