Khaberni - Four Jordanian companies, working in the field of Dead Sea products, participated in the COSMOBEAUTY INDONESIA 2025 expo, held in Jakarta during the period from October 9 to 11. This participation, the first of its kind for Jordanian companies at this expo, was organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the Amman Chamber of Industry with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Ahed Al Rajabi, the head of the expo committee at the Amman Chamber of Industry, stated that the Jordanian pavilion at the expo won the award for best pavilion, due to excellence in presentation and design and the quality of the exhibited products. The pavilion experienced widespread interest from visitors and Indonesian businessmen, who showed great interest in the Jordanian Dead Sea products due to their quality and global reputation. On the sidelines of the expo, a number of bilateral business meetings were held between representatives of the participating Jordanian companies and various importers from the Indonesian side and other expo visitors.
Al Rajabi added that this expo is one of the most important specialized expos in the field of cosmetics, skin care, and hair care in Southeast Asia, held annually in Indonesia, with wide participation from various countries around the world. The Jordanian participation reflected a positive image of the quality and diversity of Jordanian products and opened promising prospects for enhancing presence in the Indonesian market and other Asian markets.
It should be noted that the Dead Sea products sector includes a wide range of products, notably for skin, hair, and body care, which include: Dead Sea mud, bath salts, moisturizing creams, soap, shampoo, and face masks, all containing a concentration of Dead Sea minerals, which endow them with unique therapeutic and cosmetic properties. In this sector, 28 companies produce about 200 different varieties, with 65% of their production exported outside the Kingdom.
