Khaberni - 38 years have passed since the moment Elham Shahein described as the hardest in her life, when she was put through an extremely difficult test during the shooting of the movie "Blood Grove". Elham Shahein told this story at the session held to honor her colleague and friend Yousra at the El Gouna Film Festival, under the title "50 Years of Yousra".
Elham Shahein, talking about Yousra's kindness and love for everyone, revealed the behind-the-scenes events that took place during the movie "Blood Grove", where she was just starting her career, while Yousra was the star of the movie.
The director Ashraf Fahmy told them at that time what would happen in the final scene, as he asked Yousra to slaughter Elham Shahein, by sliding the knife across her neck.
Elham Shahein confirmed that the director Ashraf Fahmy was very temperamental and did not want anyone to discuss his decisions, so he ordered Yousra to slaughter Elham Shahein and throw her into the pit, and then cover her with dirt. This shocked Yousra, who responded by saying "Are you really going to bury this girl?", to which he replied that it would only be for a short time, asking Elham Shahein to hold her breath under the dirt until the scene was over.
Yousra started crying out of fear for Elham Shahein, and her hand trembled before shooting the scene, as they told her that there was a "rubber line" on Elham Shahein’s neck containing blood, and she had to make the knife penetrate only that part.
Yousra looked at Elham Shahein and asked her fearfully, "What if I don't follow this line?", to which Elham Shahein replied, "You will slaughter me".
Yousra then sat crying followed by Elham Shahein, and Yousra kept telling her, "I love you", and Elham Shahein replied, "I love you too, truly", until the difficult scene was completed.
