Khaberni - The quantities of vegetables delivered to the central wholesale market under the Greater Amman Municipality today, Tuesday, totaled 2285 tons, while fruits totaled 603 tons, and leafy greens 217 tons.
According to monitoring by the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) of the central market's bulletin and the price list of the items delivered to the market, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Ajami black eggplant ranged between 10 and 20 piastres, dry onions between 15 and 35 piastres, potatoes 15 and 30 piastres, tomatoes 15 and 40 piastres, carrots 35 and 50 piastres, cucumbers 15 and 35 piastres, cauliflower 15 and 30 piastres, lemons 35 and 50 piastres, and local bananas 50 and 80 piastres.
