Khaberni - Dr. Ekhleif Al-Tarawneh, the former president of the University of Jordan, supported the university's decision to permanently expel 21 students following their involvement in the group brawl that occurred inside the university campus last week.
Al-Tarawneh emphasized that the decision was made to enforce the existing student disciplinary regulations and to reinforce the values of discipline and responsibility that distinguish the University of Jordan since its establishment, insisting on refusing to retract the decision under any pressure or emotional considerations.
He said: "Preserving the sanctity and dignity of the university is a non-negotiable priority; the university is not a venue for chaos, but a beacon of knowledge, discipline, and responsibility."
