Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Monday that Israel dropped "153 tons of bombs" on the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
Netanyahu said from the Knesset podium during the opening session of the winter period: "Yesterday we dropped 153 tons of bombs on various areas of the Gaza Strip after two of our soldiers were killed by Hamas."
The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday the killing of two soldiers in clashes in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip. After launching a series of raids on the strip and accusing Hamas of violating the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation army announced the resumption of the ceasefire.
For its part, Hamas denied any knowledge of clashes in Rafah, and reiterated its full commitment to the ceasefire that came into effect on October 10.
