Khaberni - The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the launch of the "Consular Services Package for Golden Visa Holders", which offers a package of benefits and quality services to its holders.
The Ministry provided through its official website a service for issuing a return document in case of loss or damage to the passport, facilitating the return of Golden Visa holders to the country in case the passport is lost or damaged while abroad by issuing an electronic return document.
According to the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this service allows Golden Visa holders while outside the country to issue an electronic return document, in case of loss or damage of passport, and enables them to apply for family members (children under 18 years old), provided that their residency is valid, and that the holder commits to issuing a new passport as soon as they return to the country.
According to the terms, the service is limited to Golden Visa holders in the United Arab Emirates, provided they have a valid residency and a valid passport, the return document can be used only once, and it is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides emergency and crisis support services for Golden Visa holders while traveling outside the country and includes them in emergency and evacuation plans.
The service package also includes "Support in Emergency and Crisis Situations Abroad" aimed at providing assistance to Golden Visa holders when they encounter emergency situations while outside the country, by coordinating with the country's missions abroad to ensure their safety, provide necessary support, and include them in emergency plans through implementing necessary measures and procedures to protect them and meet their needs during exceptional circumstances and crises.
According to the site, the services include a “Transportation of the Body and Burial in the Country” service that organizes the transport and burial in case of death abroad, aimed at facilitating the procedures for transferring the body of Golden Visa holders by coordinating with the relevant health and official authorities to ensure swift completion of transactions and providing support to the deceased's family.
The ministry reported that it provided a dedicated line for Golden Visa holders to communicate with the call center around the clock at the number 024931133 from outside the country, taking care to enter the international dialing code of the UAE (971+) when calling from abroad.
