Khaberni - Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, published a post in which she appreciated what she described as the Jordanian stabilizing role in the Middle East.
In the post on the "X" platform addressing His Majesty the King, von der Leyen said: "Europe greatly values the stabilizing role that Jordan continues to play in the Middle East."
Von der Leyen added: "We are working together to enhance our partnership to build a future dominated by peace and prosperity in our shared home on the Mediterranean shore."
She revealed a financial and investment package with Jordan amounting to 3 billion euros, indicating that the strategic and comprehensive partnership between the European Union and Jordan is moving forward with full strength.
She also announced the first summit between the European Union and Jordan, stating, "Next year we will witness a new historic milestone.. the first summit of its kind between the European Union and Jordan."
