Khaberni - The preliminary registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage from Jordanians and Gaza Strip residents living in Jordan ends next Sunday evening, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites.
The ministry had announced the start of preliminary Hajj registration through the electronic registration platform: https://hajj.gov.jo/reg.
Registration requires that the applicant (the principal) be born on or before 31/12/1980, has not previously performed the Hajj, and must bring a certificate from the Ministry of Health proving they are free of diseases specified by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which include: failure of a major organ (heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys), neurological or psychiatric conditions that impair perception or are accompanied by severe mobility impairments, dementia associated with old age, pregnancy in the last two months or high-risk pregnancy at all stages, active cancer requiring chemotherapy, biological therapy or radiation, and active infectious diseases with public health implications (such as open tuberculosis, pulmonary tuberculosis).
Candidates who meet the registration criteria are required to pay an amount of (200) Jordanian Dinars for the principal registrant only, which is refundable.
