AlNaimat Ready to Show Our Strength in the Arab Cup

Khaberni - Yazan Al-Naimat, a player for the national football team, praised the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ as a gathering to celebrate Arab talent, noting the importance of the sporting event in developing football in the Arab world and in introducing the peoples to the region's passion for football.

Al-Naimat, who plays for Al-Arabi club in Qatar, said in an interview with the local organizing committee, that the previous edition of the regional tournament hosted by Qatar was exceptionally successful, providing a significant opportunity for Arab players to appear on the global stage, expressing his pride in representing his country's team again at the Arab World Cup, hosted by Qatar from December 1 to 18.
Several of the best Arab teams will participate in the championship, which will kick off in less than two months.
Al-Naimat added, "In the Arab Cup 2025, we will relive the amazing atmosphere and memories we experienced when Qatar hosted a historic edition of the World Cup."
Since his first appearance with the national football team in 2021, Al-Naimat has become known as one of the best scorers of Nashama, and his star has risen after leading his country’s team to qualify for the World Cup for the first time ever.
Al-Naimat had won the Bronze Boot for scoring three goals in the previous edition of the Arab Cup, and he hopes to continue this success in the upcoming edition of the tournament.
In this context, Al-Naimat said, "We are fully ready to show our strength and play with a team spirit, as we did in the Asian Cup 2023 when we successfully reached the final for the first time in our history. I will do my utmost and deliver the best performance possible; I believe that having passion and perseverance leads to achieving what you aspire to."
The draw for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025TM placed the Jordan team in Group Three, alongside the teams of Egypt and UAE and the winner of the match between Mauritania and Kuwait. Nashama will start their journey against their UAE counterpart in the group stage on December 3, at Al Bayt Stadium at 8:00 PM.
16 teams will compete in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™, to win the championship title. Nine of the highest-ranked teams by the International Football Federation (FIFA) have qualified automatically, while 14 teams compete for the remaining seven spots in a series of qualifiers, which will be held on November 25 and 26 in Qatar before the championship begins.
Al Bayt Stadium will host the opening match on December 1, at 7:30 PM, in a match that brings together the Qatari team, the representative of the host country, against the winner of the match between Palestine and Libya.
The final match will take place on December 18, at 7:00 PM, in the iconic Lusail Stadium.
