Khaberni - Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Orange Jordan exhibited its role as a leading and responsible digital provider in the Kingdom by sponsoring the "X META CTF" hackathon in its sixth edition, which was organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), and in collaboration with Royal Jordanian and its training arm, the Jordanian Academy for Aviation Training and Simulation (JATS), at Queen Alia International Airport.
The event, held under the motto: "Altitude Meets Attitude", attracted more than 100 young men and women from various Jordanian universities specializing in cybersecurity, engineering, and information technology, alongside aviation and cybersecurity experts. During the day, participants dealt with real security challenges in the aviation sector, competing to create practical solutions based on the latest technological advances and artificial intelligence, aiming to build a safer future for this vital sector.
Orange Jordan expressed its pride in sponsoring this hackathon, affirming its belief that supporting young people in the field of cybersecurity and developing their skills is the cornerstone of digital innovation, by providing inspiring educational environments for developing practical ideas that enhance security in the aviation sector and leave a positive impact on the community.
Through its ongoing support for such events, Orange enhances the capacity of national talents and consolidates the Kingdom's status as a regional technology and digital transformation hub, especially in light of the advanced developments the sector is witnessing, which have placed Jordan in the first position regionally and 20th globally according to the Global Cybersecurity Index.
