Khaberni - American reality TV star and "Skims" fashion brand founder, Kim Kardashian, ignited social media platforms after her appearance wearing a mask that fully covered her head during her participation in the fifth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, on the evening of Saturday, October 18th.
Kim Kardashian (44 years old) captured all the attention with an unusual look from the luxury fashion house Maison Margiela for fall 2025, where she coordinated the mask with a nude-colored corset dress, off-the-shoulder with draped sleeves, and completed her look with long nails in the same shade, and a multi-layered diamond necklace embellished with green stones, according to "People" magazine.
Kardashian also posted photos and clips of her look on her Instagram account, alongside a snapshot from the original fashion show from which she drew inspiration.
Division
Her look caused division among followers, with some seeing it as a bold and innovative step, while others considered it an exaggeration that does not suit her. One commentator wrote: "I loved the color of the look", while another said: "It looks like she's wearing a paper bag on her head".
This appearance brings to mind Kardashian's look at the 2021 Met Gala, when she wore a black outfit that covered her entire body and face from Balenciaga, in one of her most controversial fashion moments.
