Khaberni - The government confirmed that the amendment on vehicle plates approved by the cabinet today, Sunday, will only affect the specifications of government plates and the plates for the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Judicial Council, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, and diplomatic entities.
The government also confirmed that there will be absolutely no changes to the specifications of private plates.
It further explained that the amendment allows the designation of the entity to which the plates belong to be written in Arabic, in addition to the name "Jordan" alongside the previously approved abbreviations that were used to amend the vehicle plates.
