Khaberni - The Israeli army spokesperson announced the killing of an Israeli officer with the rank of major, acting as a company commander, and another soldier in Rafah, along with the injury of 3 others, one seriously wounded.
The Israeli army confirmed the killing of two of its members, one of whom was an officer with the rank of major, and another was injured in the Rafah operation.
Reports indicated that they were killed in the Rafah operation after a military vehicle was targeted with an anti-tank missile.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the army has bombarded around 100 targets in the Gaza Strip since the morning hours.
The Israeli army stated that it began striking targets belonging to Hamas in southern Gaza in response to a violation of the ceasefire agreement today, Sunday.
Channel 12 reported that the American administration is trying to prevent the deterioration of events in Gaza, which could lead to the collapse of the war-ending agreement, adding that Israel had informed Washington of its operations in Gaza beforehand but did not ask for permission to execute them.

It added that the political leadership responded to the army's recommendation to stop the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip until further notice, and also decided to close all crossings of the sector.
