Khaberni - Arab Bank renewed its gold sponsorship for the Amman International Marathon 2025 in its fifteenth edition, organized by the Jordanian Association for Marathons "Run Jordan" during October this year, thus continuing its journey as a key supporter of this sports event since its first edition in 2009. This support confirms the bank’s commitment to its role in supporting national sports initiatives aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging active participation in sports activities that contribute to building a more cohesive and healthy society.

The Amman Marathon is one of the most prominent annual sports events in the kingdom, witnessing this year the participation of approximately 5000 contestants from various ages and categories, from professional runners to amateurs, along with significant participation from youth and families. The marathon events kicked off this year with the children's race on October 10th, followed by the adults' race on October 17th, making the marathon a national platform for spreading the culture of sports, especially running, and promoting a healthy lifestyle, in addition to its contribution in supporting and highlighting important social and humanitarian issues such as environmental protection and the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities.

Ms. Lina Al Kurd, the General Manager of the Jordanian Association for Charitable Marathons, expressed her appreciation for the continuous collaboration with Arab Bank over sixteen years, where its support forms a key pillar for the success of the marathon year after year, and embodies its strong commitment to promoting sports and enhancing community and humanitarian initiatives.

It should be noted that Arab Bank continues its support for many initiatives within the framework of its community responsibility and developmental contributions, as Arab Bank's support for the Amman Marathon this year reflects its vision in making sports a lifestyle and its role in highlighting the touristic and cultural dimension of the capital, Amman, through an event that has become a prominent landmark on the national events calendar.
