Khaberni - The Ibdāʿ Platform, in collaboration with the House of Poetry in Iraq and Itras Library at their headquarters in Baghdad, hosted last Friday evening the Jordanian poet Jumana Al-Tarawneh and the poet Abdul Razzak Al-Rubaie in a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Saad Mohammad Al-Tamimi. The event was attended by a large number of writers and intellectuals, celebrating the release of their books "The Museum Novel" for Al-Tarawneh, published by Al-Aan Publishers and Distributors and "Faces in the Mirrors of Memory" for Al-Rubaie, published by the Omani Association for Writers and Authors in Muscat. Al-Tarawneh reviewed chapters of her book, which dealt with the novel "Sabira and Asila" by the Omani writer Dr. Ghalia bint Fahar Al Said, which turned into a house within the "Place and People Museum" located in Matrah, dedicated to everything related to the local Omani heritage. She discussed her experience with the museum novel and the carving of the term, which had not been previously addressed in the Arabic library, and highlighted the uniqueness of the novel and its foundational aspects. Al-Rubaie talked about the characters he encountered in his book, which consists of three chapters: the first, "Faces in Sumer's Mirrors," featuring cultural Iraqi personalities he had previously interviewed and befriended and learned from, like Abdul Wahab Al-Bayati, Abdul Razzak Abdul Wahid, Dr. Ali Jawad Al-Tahir, Dr. Ali Jaffar Al-Alaq, Dr. Hatem Al-Sakr, Dr. Said Al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdul Ridha Ali, and others. The second, "Faces in Boundless Mirrors," included cultural Arab personalities like Suleiman Al-Aissa, Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh, George Tarabishi, Abdullah Al-Bardouni, and others, and the third, "Faces in the Mirrors of the Sea," featured Omani and Gulf personalities like Ismail Fahd Ismail and Hilal Al-Amiri, Abdu Khal, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghadhami, and others. The session, which lasted for nearly two hours, was followed by discussions and interventions by several attendees that enriched the session.
