Khaberni - The Chairman of the National Guidance and Media Parliamentary Committee in the Jordanian House of Representatives, Firas Al-Qabalan, revealed the existence of 35 advisers to the House of Representatives, who receive salaries while sitting in their homes unconsulted.

Al-Qabalan stated in television statements that he had made considerable efforts to allocate an adviser for the National Guidance and Media Committee and had succeeded in doing so, questioning why there isn't a special adviser for each committee.

He justified this by saying that the members are not experts in all subjects and laws, and there are foreign countries that appoint 3 - 4 advisers per member to explain different laws and issues discussed in the parliament.

Continuing, Al-Qabalan mentioned that despite the existence of 35 titled advisers, he confirmed that no member has a personal adviser.
