Hamas Netanyahus decision to keep Rafah crossing closed is a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement

Khaberni - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said that Netanyahu's decision to prevent the opening of the Rafah crossing until further notice constitutes a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement terms, and a denial of the commitments he pledged before mediators and guarantors.

It added that the continued closure of Rafah crossing, preventing the exit of the wounded and sick and the movement of citizens in both directions, blocking the entry of special equipment necessary for searching for the missing under the rubble, and preventing the entry of equipment and teams specialized in examining bodies and verifying their identities, will lead to delays in the retrieval and delivery of bodies.

It pointed out that the continuance of the occupation in committing violations and attacks, which have so far amounted to more than 47 documented breaches causing 38 martyrs and 143 injured, reaffirms its aggressive intentions and the continuation of the siege policy against more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as the war criminal Netanyahu continues to concoct flimsy excuses to disrupt the agreement and shirk his commitments.

It called upon the mediators and the guarantors of the agreement to urgently act to pressurize the occupation to immediately open the Rafah crossing, enforce all terms of the agreement, and halt its ongoing crimes against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
