Khaberni - The Minister of Local Administration, Engineer Walid Al-Masri, inspected on Saturday several municipalities in Irbid Governorate, including the municipalities of Barqash, Rabia Al-Koura, Taybeh, and Al-Wasatiyah, to observe their readiness for the winter season and to monitor the progress of work in various administrative, service, and financial aspects.
Al-Masri met with the heads of the municipal committees and employees in the four municipalities, and listened to a briefing on the current state of services and implemented projects, in addition to the most prominent challenges and needs of the municipalities to enhance their performance and improve the quality of services provided to the citizens.
The minister toured several areas related to the municipalities to observe firsthand the conditions of the infrastructure and maintenance works, stormwater drainage networks, valley cleaning, in addition to monitoring the general cleanliness level and the municipalities' efforts in improving their efficiency in preparation for the rainy season.
Al-Masri emphasized the importance of the municipalities continuing to enhance their readiness and improve the efficiency of their administrative and technical staff, stressing the need to upgrade municipal services and cleanliness levels, and to improve the work environment, which positively reflects on the level of service provided to the citizen.
