Khaberni - The Palestinian Embassy in Egypt stated on Saturday that the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will be reopened on October 20.
The embassy stated that after communicating with the competent authorities in Egypt, the Rafah land crossing will open starting from the day after tomorrow, Monday, to enable citizens residing in Egypt and wishing to return to the Gaza Strip to travel, according to the coordination mechanism in place.
In a statement issued this evening, Saturday, the embassy invited all citizens wishing to travel to register their information (full name, date of birth, passport number if available, identity number, mobile phone number) and send it via WhatsApp to the number 01223301974.
The embassy reported that it will contact the citizens and inform them of the meeting times and places in preparation for moving towards the Rafah land crossing.
