Khaberni - A sign posted inside the Al Hussein Youth City Club in the Jordanian capital Amman has sparked anger among animal lovers, Khaberni reported, for its warning of imposing a fine of 500 dinars on those who feed the animals within the club's facilities.
Sources in the club justified the sign by citing the need to maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pools and other facilities, Khaberni, and the fear of disease transmission.
In turn, Jordanians expressed their anger at the sign, considering it contrary to Khaberni principles of mercy and kindness towards animals.
