Khaberni - Sponsored by the governor of Marka district, Ahmed Al-Zaboun, the Comprehensive Tabarbour Health Center hosted the Pink Day event for breast cancer screening awareness, in collaboration with the Tabarbour community health committee, and attended by the head of Tariq Security Center, Major Mohammad Al-Zaboun, along with numerous healthcare professionals, volunteers, and locals.
The event was part of the national campaign for raising awareness about early breast cancer detection, aimed at promoting a culture of early screening among women and spreading health awareness in the local community.
The event program included medical educational lectures about the importance of self-examination and regular check-ups, as well as a clinical screening corner, free consultations, and the distribution of informative brochures explaining prevention methods and the importance of early detection in improving recovery rates.
Administrator Ahmed Al-Zaboun commended the management of the center and the health committee, emphasizing the importance of awareness initiatives in enhancing community health and activating partnerships between official institutions and the local community.
Major Mohammad Al-Zaboun, head of Tariq Security Center, appreciated the human and preventive role that the healthcare staff play in spreading awareness among citizens.
