Jordan Trade Participation in GITEX enhances the presence of the kingdoms digital companies

Khaberni - A representative of the telecommunications and information technology sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Engineer Haitham Al-Rawajbeh, confirmed that Jordan's participation in "GITEX Global 2025," which concluded last Friday in Dubai, represents a strategic opportunity to enhance the presence of Jordanian companies specialized in this sector on an international level.

Al-Rawajbeh stated in a communiqué today, Saturday, that participating in this global event represents a real opportunity for Jordanian companies to exchange expertise, build strategic partnerships, and expand the horizons of cooperation with major global companies, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the kingdom’s technology sector.

He added that the exhibition, which saw the participation of 6800 technology companies and 2000 startups from 180 countries, provided an ideal platform for Jordanian companies to showcase their latest digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, and to observe the best global practices that accelerate the pace of digital transformation.

Al-Rawajbeh clarified that Jordan has become one of the leading countries in the Middle East in the field of telecommunications and technology, as the sector has witnessed significant progress in digital infrastructure and the expansion of companies specializing in software solutions and artificial intelligence, reflecting the Jordanian companies' ability to compete regionally and internationally.

He emphasized that the small and medium-sized Jordanian companies form the backbone of this thriving sector, as they have managed to develop innovative products and services that meet the needs of global markets, and contribute to enhancing employment and building national capacities in the field of technology and digital transformation, making Jordan a successful model in innovation and entrepreneurship.

He pointed out that participating in "GITEX Global 2025" represents an important step towards enhancing Jordan’s role in the global innovation map and encouraging national companies to open up to regional and international markets and effectively contribute to shaping a sustainable and promising digital future.

It is worth noting that "GITEX Global" in its 45th session focused on solutions for developing the infrastructure for artificial intelligence, accelerating the pace of global innovation, and enhancing international dialogue on policies and legislation supporting responsible development in the growing artificial intelligence economy.
