Khaberni - The final list of series for the upcoming Ramadan month is starting to take shape, especially as there is not much time left for drama makers to complete their task.
The stars have settled on more than 25 dramas to enter the race, which sees some stars return to the drama scene after an absence and offers the chance of absolute leadership to some young stars.
The starting point is with the artist Majed Al-Masry, who is taking on a leading role after being away from it for over twenty years, through the series "Awlad Al-Raee" (The Shepherd's Children), where he settled on this important artistic step after achieving success last year with his role in the series "Ish Ish".
The same is true for the artist Majed Al-Kadwany, who decided for the first time to participate in the Ramadan drama race with a series of his own, as he always refused to undertake such an experience for fear of failure, and it seems that his success in the series "Family Matter" encouraged him to take this step that the audience has been waiting for years.
As for the artist Youssef El Sherif, he returns to the drama scene after an absence of five years, where his last drama work was the series "Covid 25", which was shown in Ramadan of the year 2021, and he chose a series titled "Art of War" to appear with it to his audience in the upcoming Ramadan, and stars alongside Reem Mostafa.
The actress Hend Sabry is back in the Ramadan competition after a five-year absence, where she was content over the past years to present works outside the Ramadan race, but she has started preparing for a new series to be shown in Ramadan 2026, which is being written by Abbas Abu Al-Hassan and directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi, and the final name has not yet been settled.
And Ramadan 2026 witnesses the rise of new stars to take on the absolute lead role in some drama works, as the artist Mostafa Gharib is trying his first experience with drama leadership through a series named "Bi Hajr Wahed" (With One Stone), and the artist Diab has recently joined its cast.
Also, the artist Ahmed Bahar, famously known as "Kuzbara" (Coriander), announced his first absolute lead through a series "On the Back of a Man" based on the novel "100 Dreams Before Dying" by the author Mohamed Jalal, an idea by Amro Sugar, and screenplay and dialogue by Mostafa Hamdy, directed by Abdel Rahman Abu Ghazaleh.
And the artist Mohamed Henedy returns to collaborate with the author Yousef Maaty after more than 15 years since their last collaboration in the series "Monsieur Ramadan Mabrouk" which was shown in 2011, and Henedy recently announced his readiness to star in a series named "Qandeel", which is authored by Youssef Maaty and directed by Wael Ihsan, to be shown next Ramadan.
The Ramadan race also witnesses a return of cooperation between the actress Ghada Abdel Razek and the screenwriter Ayman Salama after more than seven years since their last collaboration, where Ghada signed a contract for a new series named "Aliya", written by Ayman Salama and directed by Ahmed Hassan.
Among the list of Ramadan drama 2026, there's the series "Ali Clay" for the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, and "Nensa Elli Kan" (Forget What Was) for Yasmin Abdel Aziz, and "Kolhom Beyhebbo Mody" (Everyone Loves Mody) for the artist Yasser Galal, and "Taher Al-Masry" for the artist Khaled Al-Nabawy.
And the artist Amir Karara stars in the series "Min Al-Eyar Al-Thakeel" (From Heavy Caliber), while Mohamed Farag has settled on starring in the series "Ab Walakn" (Father But), and Essam Omar is undergoing his second experience with absolute stardom through the series "Eye Magic".
Among the series anticipated to be shown next Ramadan are the series "Al-Rais" (The President) for artist Amr Saad, which witnesses a return of cooperation with the director Ahmed Khaled Moussa, the same is the case for the series "Darsh" starring the artist Mostafa Shaaban, and the series "The King" for artist Mohamed Imam and director Sherien Adel, and "Ethnain Gherna" (Two of Us) for Asser Yassin and Dina El-Sherbiny, "Ard w Talab" (Supply and Demand) for Salma Abu Deif.
The expected drama race also features new parts of drama works shown in previous years, and at the forefront is the series "El Ekhteyar" (The Choice) which is currently being prepared, and the series "Ashghal Shaqa 3" (Hard Labor 3) for the artist Hisham Maged and Asmaa Galal, and "Al-Nass 2" (The Text 2) for Ahmed Amin, and the sixth part of the series "Al-Madah" (The Praiser) for the artist Hamada Hilal.
