Khaberni - In the Karak governorate in southern Jordan, the "Al-Habashneh" Al-Asasfeh family recorded a noble humanitarian stance when the son of Abdul Jalil Al-Asasfeh, the brother of Uncle Ghazi Al-Asasfeh, owner of the saying "People from Al-Karak do not sleep in prisons," was involved in a hit-and-run accident that led to fractures requiring hospitalization.
After ensuring the son's condition was stable, Abdul Jalil Al-Asasfeh took the initiative to discharge him from the hospital to reduce the costs on the young man who caused the accident, and went with his brothers to the security center where they bailed out the young man and released him from detention.
Late on, when the relatives of the other party came to take a reconciliation deed, the family granted them a peace settlement deed, announcing a full waiver of all tribal and legal rights.
This stance was highly praised by the local community and social media users who saw the family as an example of tolerance, generosity, and the nobility of forgiving when capable, praying for God to reward them with good and protect them from harm.
