Advisor Turki Al Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, ignited social media after posting on his official Instagram account a photo that gathered him with Indian cinema giants: Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, during their presence at the Joy Forum 2025 event held in Riyadh.
Al Sheikh accompanied the photo with a cryptic comment indicating an anticipated artistic work involving these international stars, without revealing project details, thus sparking waves of anticipation and excitement among fans of Indian and Arab cinema alike, amidst predictions that the collaboration could be one of the biggest joint projects between Riyadh and Bollywood.
This comes after Turki Al Sheikh announced during the same forum the start of preparations for a major international film titled "Sword of Allah Khalid bin Walid", which will be filmed in Al Husn and Qiddiya studios, with a planned release in 2027. He confirmed that the movie will be in English and feature international stars, marking a significant shift in the Saudi and Arab cinema industry.
